Cine CIty I am admiring everyone of you who are screening films at the HKIFF. It suddenly struck me whether you know about this online store that sells asian film related materials. This store used to be in Shibuya and Shinsaibashi (Osaka). When I was in Osaka in 2003, I found out they closed down but the store in Tokyo was still running. Then in 2004 when I was in Tokyo, I found out they closed as well. I talked the owner on phone and he said there just isn't enough profit to keep the store running. It's really a pity since I really enjoyed browsing in their store when I was living in Tokyo in 2002. I can spend hours looking for stuff and looking AT stuff that I can't afford. They carry a lot of rare goods and special booklets/pamphlets for films. I hope you will have fun browsing the site! === Anecdote of the day: I am writing something on Pier Paolo Pasolini's films if anyone is interested. Since I saw the post on Ingmar Bergman, I thought may be someone might be interested to read something on PPP as well. It will be in English though, since I can't articulate myself in Chinese as well as I can in English when comes to writing. Please post a comment if you are interested. I'll try to improve my Chinese writing ^^;
